Service 05
Home & Living: SIL & SDA
Support and accommodation that focus on choice, routines, safety and independence.

For example: support with cooking, cleaning and evening routines in your own or shared home.
Home and living arrangements can involve two different things: the support you receive inside the home (SIL) and the specialist housing itself (SDA). We are registered to provide both.
We support NDIA-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants. Our supports are charged in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, and everything is agreed in a written Service Agreement before support begins.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Help from support workers with day-to-day tasks in the home. The arrangement depends on your needs and NDIS funding, with the aim of building skills and independence wherever possible.
- Your routines and preferences
- Personal care and daily living tasks, where funded
- Meals, cleaning and household routines
- Independent living skills
- Community participation and relationships
- Safety, consistency and clear communication

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
SDA is specialist housing for eligible participants with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. It is the home itself, and it is separate from the support you receive inside it.
Uncle Moe Cares is registered to provide Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). We welcome SDA enquiries and can discuss suitable accommodation arrangements, including opportunities to work with property owners and development partners where appropriate.
Any SDA arrangement is subject to participant eligibility, suitable dwelling availability and applicable NDIS dwelling enrolment requirements.
