Accessibility Statement

Uncle Moe Cares supports people with disability, so accessibility matters to us. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What We Have Done

• An Accessibility Options button on every page, with bigger text, text spacing, high contrast, highlighted links, a readable font, paused animations, hidden images and a big cursor. Your choices are saved on your device.
• Clear, plain-English content and a clean, easy-to-read font.
• Strong colour contrast, visible keyboard focus and a "Skip to main content" link.
• The site works with keyboards and screen readers and respects your device's "reduce motion" setting.
• Videos never play on their own, and they all have captions. You choose when to play them.

Videos

All our videos have English captions, which are switched on by default. You can turn them off with the CC button in the video player. The key points of each video are also written out on our Helpful Guides page.
